markky! now i know where you learn all about squats and running around in confused circles! gush!
anyway, i led singing and taught again today. haha the kids are adorable. some of them come up with so intelligent answers that you don't know whether to laugh or to cry at haha. for example, there's this dyslexic kid sean. and that day, the whole class had gone out for outdoor, while he still a page not completed.
me:"sean, you still have one page you know..."
- silence -
me: "how about you do it during outdoor?"
sean: ... (looks up with puppy eyes) "how bout i go and play?"
oh my, i almost died trying not to laugh in front of him. that same day, he did increasingly cuter things. like at the end of the day, he was the last one to leave, and i was helping him put his things away.
sean: "you know why i'm not taking the bus today?"
me: "why?"
sean: "because mummy picking me up today. you know why?"
me: "why?"
sean: (excited voice / burst) "because... i'm going to MACDONALDS!"
haha that image of him is permanently stuck in my head now. the look on his face, the hand gestures when he said macdonalds... the kids are so adorable! haha sigh, if only i could do this the rest of my life. just teach kindie. haha and after term 2, i'll be back in school, looking at people my age again. what with backstabbing, politics etc. at least in kindie, it's just the simple "teacher! he copy / kick / hit me!" come to think of it, it was a lot less painful in kindie, despite of physical injuries a plenty haha.
speaking of which, whatever that's going on, is just ugly and going too far. sigh. random comment! *turns round in confused circles.
alright, alumni band stuff calls. haha like i was telling ben pooi, the nonsense paperwork / saikang never seems to leave me, it's probably going to haunt me the rest of my life haha.
later.
