oh yes, today was a total band day for me. well, not like every saturday i don't have band for the whole day. but i guess i feel it a lot more for today, because i only got 3 hours of sleep and i was out the whole day from 7 am onwards, and i only just got home at about 10.30 pm, mind you.

but oh my, did i have such a fun and fulfilling time today. today, the entire day was a musical, literally hurhur.

well, i got the call last night that the tutoring thing was on, so yay! (man, God, stop leading me in circles hurhur) off i went in the morning, a little scared, tired and underprepared (quote quote coldplay haha) i guess hurhur. man, the french horns are all girls, it's almost as though i'm back at crescent. haha and it reminds me of the ac mighty horns section 05, the one with all girls and the one guy fye haha. but the kids are so sweet and nice, and their willingness is there, i'm really going to put everything in. anyway, music is about hard practice, doing your best and aiming for the best, that's all.

but i do declare, 3 hours of standing during sectionals is tiring, i wonder how fye did that! (then again, he didn't stand for 3 hours haha) i need better shoes or something, or else i'll just be erm even more flat-footed haha. coupled with only 3 hours of sleep (eh, i really tried to sleep, i really couldn't okay), by the end of sectionals, i was a bit not in the school hall anymore hurhur. and i'm convinced that there's something wrong with me, because all the fans around the stage were on, but i was still sweating like mad o.O yes, something wrong, i declare hurhur.

well, after that, the whole lot of us tutors went for lunch at jurong point, then a few of us popped back to ac to hang during afternoon band pract! and it was raining cats and dogs. i was sharing a brollie with brocolli, and we were both wet! okay, not drenched, but wet enough to want to run around barefoot in the lt anyway (at least i was hurhur).

then, crystal, simin, small dave and i went down to vch for the ntu band concert. oh man, by then i'd gotten dry in lt4, kept dry all the way city hall, but got equally wet walking to vch from city hall haha. and i was so tired, honestly, i was trying to stay awake for the concert, and there were nice pieces okay. and i thought i could just close my tired eyes and enjoy the music, but soon i was banging my head against various surfaces, and that was by what, the second song i think? finish lah. but when deep purple came up, ah, that was fun haha. anyone got smoke over water, please send!

alright, i'm tired, there's church, and the island life doesn't want me. haha quite appropriate that it's raining, and singapore's no long the sunny island set in the sea hurhur.
