i realise i'm always shaky before, after or during alumni practices. but never mind. random haha. but dinner with shuj, jiayi and candy the CoW was fun haha. as i erm predicted haha.

anyway! i have tons of kindie moments! haha it's been a fun time there, as usual, except for the fact that i'm constantly sick, partly from the need to always having to make myself heard over 15 and more voices, partly from the fact that there's not one day that i have a full class, since it's always coughing, flu, fever et cetra. work hazards, i say. plus it's an aircon classroom. but anyway, i digress.

1. on the day of my smoo interview, i had to go from work, so it wasn't my usual jeans and tee, it was shirt and black pants. justin walks in.

- confused / amused look - "why ms tang wear like going to work?"

gush haha. but i realised that all justin's comments are really innocent / logical to some extent. like there are a few pairs of shoes under the teacher's table, because flops are just more comfortable.

justin: "haiya, why you all have to change so many shoes?"

and when lao shi changes out of her boots to her comfy flops,

justin: "why lao shi one minute wear boots, then later change shoe?"

kayle was even better. since i couldn't wear flops to my smoo interview, and my feet would probably have died running around kids in heels, i brought flops to change. so instead of 2 pairs of shoes under the table, there were 3 that day.

kayle: "eh, ms tang, how come there is one more shoe today?"

gush, kids and shoes.

2. mrs koh made me these green earrings, they kind of look like super long macaroni, but it's pretty. adeline looks up.

"why you wear green beans on you ear?" "huh what?" "there, the kind you crack open" - does gesture - "then can eat the inside." "why, you want in your porridge later is it?" "eh, noooo" - shakes hand in a very adeline fashion, only she can do it haha -

what was funnier was, the next day, she asked, "aiya, no more green beans ah?" "yeah i ate them up." haha.

3. it was time to go home, and my k2 kid, yiwen's sister, ziyi's, very small pre-nursery size bag was filled with the goodie bag from the birthday kid of the day. so there wasn't any space for her pink waterbottle.

me: "yiwen, help mei mei bring the waterbottle home, her bag has no space."
yiwen: "eeee! don't want! i'm not a girl!"

haha it was quite ironic that he wanted to put it not in the big pocket, but at the side pocket for everyone to see. "haiya! put inside your bag, then no one will laugh at you lah!" gush haha

4. well, nothing to do with the kindie per se, but yes something to do with me sigh. you see, i have no idea how this got around ib band, that i'm teaching in a kindie. it already started out during soundcheck that day. shuj, guosh, a couple of ib guys were waiting for doctor lee ouside crystal jade.

markky: teacher teacher - some complaint - how, teacher how?
jerel: eh, why you call her teacher teacher ah?

wah that was it man. for the whole night, i was ms tang =p

then, when the MATrix asked me to pop down for ib band pract to help out, i think i made the right decision not to volunteerily walk into the band room until doctor lee asked me to go in. proven true, since the minute i stepped in, there was ms tang here and ms tang there. oh my.

the end it off, as i was walking back to the band room after sectionals with fye, here comes mr koh out of the darkness (man that sounds like some syf piece that alumni sightread the other day haha) calling ms tang again. bahs -.-

anyway, i'm pretty tired and flu-ey, but it's just that mikey sneezer's sending some dream theater over, so i guess i'll erm wait. it cannot be that bad haha. and i'm actually losing my voice again. bahs.
